RAS & RPST
Our RAS & RPST (Remote Air Sampling & Remote Pest Scent Tracing) solution was developed in line with the principles of REST and is based on a two-stage process:
RAS:
Sample Collection:
Samples are collected by extracting air from Spaces (rooms cabins etc) through a specially designed filter, capturing the scent particles.
RPST:
Filter Analysis:
The filters are then transferred to an analysis room, where they are placed on our search path. A specially trained dog moves down the search path, sniffing around each one. The dog is trained to sit by the stand if it detects explosive vapour. They are analyzed by 2 dogs duble blind
A typical RAS & RPST team (dog + handler) can screen up to 1,500 filters on an 8-hour shift .
RAS & RPST
DESIGNED SPECIFICALLY FOR MASS SCREENING, RAS & RPST IS RAPIDLY BECOMING THE METHOD OF CHOICE FOR SCREENING.
Operational
No need for dogs and dog handlers – on-site, mobile sampling of spaces to be search.
High throughput – multiple spaces sampled simultaneously.
Commercial
Cost efficient with a pay-per-use business model.
Revenues growth – enables the screening of hundreds of spaces per hour.
Security
High detection rates and low false alarm.
No need to open spaces for sampling.
